DRG begins NASCAR Roll-Out with 90% conversions.
DRG expecting to drive $25 million in revenue in 2008 selling new “WOW” membership package.
After successfully testing NASCAR sales program last summer, DRG and NASCAR Members Club have implemented a more aggressive strategy and prepared a more substantial membership package. “We took all the research information we gathered from our first testing and have now re-designed the entire sales program to deliver exactly what the Nascar fan wants” said Scott Swank, Chief Operating Officer of Dynamic Response Group. The NASCAR Members package now comes in a giant box approximately 36” x 24” and about 12” thick. We call it the “WOW” package. It includes some very cool exclusive NASCAR collectable merchandise plus an entire member benefits program and hard Plastic Member Card.
So far after just a few weeks of sales with the new program we are seeing incredible numbers. Out of every call nearly 30% are taking the trila offer with over 90% committing to pay the entire cost of a 1 year membership all up front after 30 days. A yearly member will pay initially $199 for the membership, but over the year, could spend as much as $2,000 on other NASCAR goods and service purchased through the membership on merchandise and tickets.
“With NASCAR becoming such a huge sport we are getting in at the right time” said CEO Melissa Rice. NASCAR has never seen this kind of popularity and fan support in past years and we are planning on ridding this wave of success.
